When you genuinely like what you do, coming to work is a pleasure. Marie Simmons, Sales Coordinator at our Sioux City location is one of those lucky people. Twenty-eight years ago she left her position in an attorney’s office to take on a secretarial role at McCracken (now Besser). NCMA "Machinery Show" Returns in 2018

Mark your calendar! The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) will host an International Concrete Exposition (ICON Expo) Machinery and Equipment Show 9-10 February 2018, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ICON Expo Machinery Show is currently scheduled as a two-day event to be held in conjunction with NCMA's Annual Convention (6-8 February 2018) and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute's Annual Meeting (11-14 February 2018). Francesco Tullio, better known as Frank, began making an impact on the concrete products industry over two years ago when he came to work for Besser. British Precast Show Well Attended

Trade shows sponsored by associations typically draw business leaders. This year’s UK Precast Show, sponsored by British Precast (a part of the Material Products Association), held on 12 May at the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, certainly did!  As an associate (supplier) member of the association, our International Sales Manager Mike Munro was invited to attend the pre-show dinner. Getting to Know Your Customer Service Representative: Scott Kennedy

Before Scott Kennedy became a Besser Production Specialist, he was a producer and Besser customer. His relationship with the concrete industry began in 1975 when he joined his parents and mother-in-law in the family’s precast operation using Quinn (now Besser) forms. In 1985, Scott began looking for a better pipemaking process and in 1991 the company installed a used Pederschaab machine, moved the company to a new location, and stopped precasting altogether, making pipe the company’s sole product line. Servopac® Takes Production to New Level at Easton Block & Supply

“Mr. Servopac,” as they’ve affectionately named their 2015 four at-a-time model, has put smiles on everybody’s faces at Easton Block & Supply. “We’re totally impressed; Besser covered every base to produce the best machine on the market,” commented Roy Kester, General Manager.
