IT Support Specialist

This position supports location staff providing IT support services. This position reports to the Director of IT.

1. Provides onsite IT and Telecommunications support.
2. Performs PC configurations, moves and/or additions.
3. Ensures employees have necessary IT equipment: computers, phones, cellular devices.
4. Provides Helpdesk support.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: Two year IT technical or equivalent degree.
Experience: Three to five years of experience in an IT related field.
Skills: Good understanding of computer and networking terminology. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good organization skills. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Server 2003 and Active Directory, networking printing and file security, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), CAD and SolidWorks applications. Capable of working independently to et tasks completed timely and effectively.
Requirements: Must be fluent in English and a second language may be required depending on Besser location.
