One Retirement, Two Promotions:
A Strong Path Forward for Our Masonry and Hardscape Team
After more than 20 years of dedicated service, Bruce Muenchow is beginning a well-earned retirement. A familiar face to many, Bruce is a trusted partner to producers around the globe, installing plants, improving operations, elevating product quality, and solving complex technical challenges.
While Bruce is looking forward to spending more time with his family, we’re pleased that he will remain connected to Besser in a contract capacity. In this role, he’ll support customer projects, assist with testing, and mentor the next generation of service technicians. His knowledge and influence will continue to shape the work ahead.
We are also pleased to announce changes to our customer support structure designed to deliver faster, more coordinated service. Effective May 1, Brittney Muth has been promoted to Director of Customer Support for our Masonry and Hardscape business. Brittney has built a strong reputation for improving efficiency and strengthening the customer experience — most recently guiding her team through record parts, training, and service demand while maintaining the responsiveness and reliability our customers count on. In her new role, she will unify our customer service and technical field service teams, resulting in more seamless communication, quicker response times, and stronger collaboration across the board.
Supporting this structure, Dan Schwefel has been promoted to Technical Service Manager. With more than eleven years of technical service experience and firsthand plant operations knowledge, Dan is exceptionally well positioned to lead field service efforts and enhance the support customers receive during installation and beyond.
