JOB SUMMARY: The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including IT support, systems, infrastructure, applications, and technology services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including IT support, systems, infrastructure, applications, and technology services.
2. Manage and provide direction to IT staff, including assigning work, establishing priorities, and monitoring performance.
3. Maintain and support the organization's hardware, software, networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure.
4. Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of IT systems and equipment.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to employees and work to resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
6. Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology initiatives.
7. Support the security, reliability, and availability of the organization's systems, networks, and data.
8. Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation to support effective IT operations.
9. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers and monitor the quality and effectiveness of services provided.
10. Work with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that improve efficiency and support business operations.
11. Assist with management of the IT budget and monitoring expenditures to ensure resources are used effectively.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Experience: At least five years of experience in IT or systems administration. Previous experience managing or leading IT staff is preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure. Experience with IT security, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery practices. Experience managing IT projects, system implementations, and technology upgrades. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and handle sensitive and confidential information. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements: Must be familiar with ERP systems, EPICOR preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs. Must be willing to travel.
