Coeur d’Alene, Idaho provided a gorgeous, yet chilly backdrop, for the NCMA MidYear Meeting. Industry members from across the United States and Canada participated in committee and task group meetings and networking events as they were updated on the current status of our industry and set the course for our future.
The status of Concrete Masonry Check Off Program, the changes to ASTM C-90, our ongoing fight with competitive building materials were hot topics. Another hot topic is the excitement building around 2018, the year that NCMA celebrates a century of serving the industry. An industry sponsored Machinery Trade Show is being held in February followed by a Gala Celebration in August.
Free time for many attendees was spent taking advantage of the woods and water.
Besser was well represented with Kevin Curtis, Brian Siegert, Scott Foerstner, Duane Rondeau, Brian Budnik and Terri Grulke from Alpena and field staff John Reedy, Ralph Schlereth, Rodney Lang and Terry McNamee.
