JOB SUMMARY: This position manages and coordinates the work of the electrical engineering staff to provide design specifications that meet market demands and customer expectations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Develops a training plan for the electrical engineering team.
2. Facilitates design reviews on all orders.
3. Works closely with the Service team to strategize action plans for addressing field support issues promptly and effectively.
4. Collaborates with the Sales Application Engineering team on specifications for new equipment.
5. Responsible for the electrical aspect of MET inspections.
6. Creates and maintains engineering standards.
7. Strategizes and implements plans to ensure all machines have up-to-date equipment manuals covering installation, operation, maintenance, and spare parts.
8. Collaborates with Human Resources to identify and interview prospective electrical engineering candidates.
9. Integrates safety protocols into all engineering activities.
10. Must be willing to complete other duties as needed.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience: Eight years of experience in engineering preferred.
Skills: Sound knowledge of engineering theory and design criteria. Good organizational skills and personal leadership skills required. Must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong computer and technology proficiency.
Requirements: Must be willing to travel. Shift work may be required.
