JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for promoting and securing parts and molds sales, while also providing technical support and training to customers and prospects across the Besser product line. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

1. Promotes parts and mold sales to customers. 

2. Prepares service and parts proposals through the business system.

3. Provides hands-on technical assistance and training to customers during and after equipment installation, and as needed. 

5. Completes technical installation and service reports; reports on product problems encountered. 

6. Understands lean concepts and initiates improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 

7. Provides innovative ideas and utilizes resources to exceed sales and service goals. 

8. Follows written policies, procedures, and best practices developed for the customer service team. 

9. Assists customers with installing new equipment, upgrades and specific paid services. 

10. Trains customers on the operation of equipment. 

11. Forwards capital equipment sales inquiries to the appropriate sales representative when received. 

12. Completes call cards, expense reports and provides capital equipment leads to the capital team. 

13. Contributes to customer communications such as service bulletins and newsletters.

14. Performs other duties as assigned. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

Education: Associate’s degree in business or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Experience: Experience in a related field with electrical and mechanical experience preferred. Knowledge of the Concrete Products Industry is beneficial. 

Skills: Exceptional knowledge of equipment and production of products and plant practices. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers at many levels. 

Requirements: Must be willing to travel worldwide for a minimum of three weeks per month. Must be physically able to perform manual labor and lift a minimum of 100 pounds. Must be fluent in English, bi-lingual preferred. Must have good driving record.
