JOB SUMMARY: The Mold Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new mold business opportunities, as well as managing and growing existing accounts.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Identifies customer needs and recommends appropriate mold solutions to meet their requirements.
2. Prepares and enters customer quotes and sales orders.
3. Follows up on quotes and monitors sales order progress.
4. Delivers outstanding customer service, promptly addressing product inquiries or concerns internally and externally.
5. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects, from design to manufacturing and delivery.
6. Generates new leads and business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry tradeshows.
7. Develops and maintains a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and competitive landscape.
8. Assists with contracts and pricing agreements with customers or field sales staff.
9. Reviews mold part pricing to ensure competitiveness.
10. Monitors minimum mold part levels.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience: Preferred experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
Skills: Good understanding of manufacturing processes and blueprints. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Familiarity with EPICOR business system and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and Access).
Requirements: Must be willing to travel. Shift and weekend work may be required.
