Besser Company’s Own Becomes Newest Master Blockmaker

Big congratulations go out to Besser employee, Brad Meyer, on his recently earned designation of Master Blockmaker! A Master Blockmaker certification is recognized as an advanced educational achievement in the concrete products industry, achieved by completing five week-long Blockmaker's classes.
Brad graduated from his final class (Advanced Vibrapac) at the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) held the last week of January. His other courses included Vibrapac, Concrete Masonry Technology (2x), Electrical Controls, and Servopac. Making this achievement extra special is that Brad is the first Besser employee to have received this special recognition. (It's worth noting that both current Besser employees Ron Scherer and Wally Hernandez are Master Blockmakers, however, they received their award prior to their start at Besser.)
Brad summarized his training at the WCCT by stating, "Taking the classes as a Besser employee gave a deeper understanding of our equipment and it's applications from a customer's perspective. Applying the information learned in each of the different classes offers a broader understanding of our customer's day-to-day operations, including not only how our equipment benefits their efforts but also areas where we can improve. It's always fun to meet new people in each class as well and finally meet customers in person that I've been corresponding with over the years."
