Besser Representatives Busy During the 11th ICCBP

Every three years industry professionals from around the globe gather for the International Conference in Concrete Block Pavement (ICCBP). This year’s event, held from 8-11 September, at the International Congress Centre in Dresden, Germany attracted more than 600 attendees. Recognized industry experts presented current developments in the concrete paving stone construction method. Lectures covered a diverse range of topics including constructive design, planning, manufacture and execution of concrete block pavements, aspects of landscape planning, innovations and research, ecological aspects of water-permeable pavements, preservation, preservation planning as well as manufacturing technologies and the material design of concrete paving stones. The agenda was aimed at manufacturers, installation companies, scientists and engineers involved with the planning and construction of traffic areas superstructures. Besser was one of 60 companies that participated in the international trade exhibition held in conjunction with the event.  Besser sales representatives Mike Munro and Othmar Schmid met with visitors from 19 different countries with interests in block and pipe machines, plant equipment and PaveDrain.
