California Precast Concrete Pipe Association Hosts Meeting

Besser is proud to support the CPCPA's mission to be the spokesperson for the concrete pipe industry in all matters affecting the industry’s welfare in California. We recognize that the activities of state associations are critical to the continued viability and growth of our industry so we are happy to contribute and participate as much as possible. Recently Jerry Cowden, Sales Representative, and Gary Ericson, Director of Sales Pipe and Precast, attended the California Precast Concrete Pipe Association meeting in Stockton, California. Among the topics discussed by producers and associate members during the meeting was how best to combat competitive products in the marketplace. Following the meeting the group enjoyed a tour of Oldcastle's Precast plant in Stockton. At the plant, the twenty attendees had the opportunity to see the recently installed Besser Advantage Series A- 48” x 8’ BiDi(R) Pipe Machine equipped with Vision 3 Automation producing 15” x 8’ RCP pipe with profile gasket.
