Retirement Wishes to Rick Dolly and Robert Frisby

At Besser Company, our success has always been built on people—employee owners who listen closely, lead with integrity, and stay relentlessly focused on helping producers succeed. Today, we proudly celebrate two such individuals as they begin their well-earned retirements: Rick Dolly and Robert Frisby.

For decades, Rick and Robert have been trusted partners to our customers and steady leaders within our organization. Throughout their careers—most recently as Director of North American Sales Manager, Masonry & Hardscape, and Sales Representative—they each brought a rare combination of deep industry knowledge, thoughtful listening, and unwavering commitment to producer success. They understood something fundamental: when our producers succeed, Besser succeeds.

Their careers were anchored in strong relationships and hands-on knowledge of producing concrete products with Besser equipment. Whether solving complex challenges or guiding customers through new opportunities, Rick and Robert were known for their integrity, unrelenting work ethic, and resourcefulness. Those qualities earned them the respect of customers, colleagues, and partners across the industry.

While we will miss their daily presence, we are confident in the strength of the team they helped build.

With Rick’s retirement, Ralph Schlereth has been promoted to lead our experienced Masonry and Hardscape Sales Team. Ralph brings a powerful combination of technical expertise, sales experience, and passion for the industry. His leadership ensures continuity, momentum, and a continued focus on delivering value to our producers. Ralph shares, “As we celebrate Rick and Robert’s remarkable careers, we also look ahead with confidence. Their legacy lives on, the standards they set, and the company they helped shape. This experienced team is well positioned to provide the high level of service our customers expect from Besser.”

To further strengthen customer support, we have updated our sales regions. Producers previously supported by Rick Dolly have transitioned to Travis Witulski, while Rodney Ebeling’s region expands to include producers in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.
