Scherer Presents to Civil Engineers

On 6 October 2015, Ron Scherer, Besser representative presented to graduate students at the University of Illinois – Urbana – Champaign campus (rated the second civil engineering college in the US) which consisted of the different types of concrete products such as ready mix, dry cast (block, paver, segmented retaining wall units), concrete pipe, precast and prestressed.  The presentation covered the different design aspects of the individual product groups and the importance of mix designs, water / cement ratio and ultimate performance criteria for each product line. This civil engineering graduate group meets once a month for different topics / presenters during the school year.
