Special Edition 19 March 2020, COVID-19 Update

On behalf of everyone at Besser Company, our hearts go out to all those impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19); those who have been diagnosed with the virus, along with their families and friends; those who have distanced themselves from their jobs and school; and those, like us, who are waking up to new levels of uncertainty each day. Through the confusion, our focus remains fully on the health of our employees, our communities, and our customers. Based on latest advice from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have implemented the recommended guidelines of local governments in the locations where we operate to minimize risk of spreading the virus. This includes several internal policy changes aimed at keeping our teams safe, while also providing the same quality service you've come to rely on. Our teams are monitoring the current and projected implications of the virus in real-time. We are taking prudent, necessary precautions, have not experienced any interruptions in our business activity, and do not foresee any significant disruptions at this time. We have consulted with our key suppliers and have received positive feedback regarding their continued ability to meet their commitments to us. We stand with you in vigilance during these unprecedented times as more than just a supplier.
