WCCT Launches New Website & Improves Master Blockmaker Certification

This week the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) launched a new, mobile-friendly website, www.wcct.net. The site is easy-to-use and provides prospective students with new avenues to register for upcoming courses - online, by fax, mail or phone. The new site also allows students to submit payment by credit card, PayPal, check or to be invoiced. WCCT is hosting four Blockmakers Workshops® this fall. Complete course descriptions, costs, travel details and Alpena area information is available online. Early registration is encouraged to reserve your seat. Fall 2015 Blockmakers Workshops:

• Vibrapac®: 19-23 Oct 2015

We’re also excited to announce that the Master Blockmaker® program has expanded to allow students to choose from a wider range of courses to earn the Master Blockmaker certification.  “We wanted to provide students with the opportunity to take courses they need to better do their jobs rather than a rigid set of standard classes to earn Master Blockmaker status,” said Kari Schellie, Director of Marketing & Information Technology, Besser Company. Students can now choose any five of the following week-long Blockmakers Workshop courses to earn the certification that many in the concrete products industry strive to achieve.
