Training for Oldcastle Staff in Indianapolis, Indiana

Training at Besser takes many forms. We conduct Blockmakers Workshops®, offer online courses and also bring our training direct to producers in their plants. Most recently, we were thrilled to participate in Oldcastle’s training program held on 12 November in Indianapolis, Indiana. Vibrapac® Training A Success

The latest Vibrapac® training course was held at the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) 19-23 October 2015 with eleven students attending. The Vibrapac concrete products machine course is a hands-on study of the proper machine adjustments, electronics and electrical schematic print reading of the V3 block machine. Students apply practical applications to troubleshoot issues that may occur in day-to-day activities. Free Online Training

As a way to exceed our customers’ expectations, Besser offers free monthly online training. On 6 November, we’ll cover Bottlenecks in Your Facility and How to Justify Capital Expenditures to improve facility efficiency. On 4 December, we will cover all of the basics of downtime and ways to Measure and Minimize Facility Downtime. This session will cover all aspects of downtime with plenty of group interaction on downtime and how to solve or measure. Students Graduate from Concrete Masonry Technology

Six students from around the USA attended the Concrete Masonry Technology (CMT) at the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) 12-16 October 2015.  The CMT course covers all aspects of manufacturing concrete products including raw materials (cement, water, aggregate, admixtures and pigment), aggregate sieve analysis, multi-aggregate blending and mix designs.
